A Few Thanksgiving Wishes
Since my dear wife has to work today and will not get home until 6 pm, I will keep myself busy doing what I love to do… write. We will enjoy our Thanksgiving meal tomorrow, so it is easy to forget that the rest of our country is celebrating today.
So, my wishes for all of you are these.
- Try not to stress out. That way tomorrow morning will be filled with even better memories of today’s special moments.
- Try not to pig-out. Well, maybe just a little. After all, this is a special day centered around family and food.
- Take a moment to reflect on those folks who may not have the blessings you enjoy. Doing this helps us remember to not judge others just because they have less. What we have is not a reflection of who we are.
- Take a moment to give thanks for our men and women serving in the armed forces. Those far-away duty-stations can be very lonely this time of year.
Good wishes to you, my friends.
